Third to Aqan: nope, i didn't made any progress to it. But as soon as i finish my assigment/assesment(or how to call it) i'll contain you it. Or if anyone else wants to give the scenario's a try, do it^^. Anyway, i don't have an idea for maps yet, i'm sorry

I was wondering which one of us was going to do the 'miners vs Balrog' scenario. Unless you can do it, I could do it but:
1) I don't know how to make a map and
2)I can't upload it on Dropbox
Either way, I'll have to send it to you. So, just give me the word and I'll be off to work.

Also, any document in the need of proof-reading? Just PM me or ask Exceloia (please say something if you can't).

You may make the scenario if you want to (i'm kind of busy at the moment), and just like Aqan said, you can make a rough sketch with paint and everything will work out^^

I've finally edited and uploaded all the scenario's (but of course it still may contain errors).
And with that, campaign 1 is finished! (apart from painting and terrain guides).

I'll do the layout for the Campaign later today or tomorrow. Also, I've a couple of things I'd like to add in the next couple of days. (Been painting Dwarves for the supplement too! Whee!) I'll also have a pass at the proofing and editing (nothing serious, but a second set of eyes always-always picks up things you miss. And I say this as someone who gets paid to write stuff.)

I am trying to learn how to use Campaign Cartographer to make scenario maps, now that the Last Alliance map making tool is dead along with the old Last Alliance page. It's proving tricky. But I shall prevail. If I was really hardcore, I'd figure out how to make a template for Campaign Cartographer for LOTR style maps. But I won't be able to figure that one out anytime soon, alas.

Anyway, I think I've fulfilled all my christmas obligations and no one will bug me for several days (being poor and exhausted and hungover and such).

Another update from me today, my MacBook has been fixed after a short (and free because of apple care) trip to the Apple store. Hardrive is better than the old one so I'll be able to have more pictures to add.

I do have some goblins to paint so I'd be happy to post pics of them for the book. (or better yet add them to dropbox).

I've started the basing article, its in the painting section. I'll do the basics, like applying sand, painting, etc. and some additional details. I've never used static grass so someone will have to add instructions on how to do that, otherwise just add as you wish. Also, let me know if my instructions are too detailed as I'm not always very concise.

I'm glad to have your support aqan. I plan on adding more to it soon. I was wondering how the project as a whole is coming along, what is still needed, how close we are to achieving the goal, etc. I know it is hard to tell and there is so much that could be added but it would be interesting to know.

It's been a while since my last reply.
The last couple of weeks have been really busy, so I didn't had much time.
However, now I have a holiday so I'll try to get the maps done as soon as posible.

@ dloel we are getting quite close to finishing the rough version.
for the first campaign, most of the articles are done and all the scenarios and maps are completed.

for the second campaign the scenarios are not entirely worked out yet(for as far as I know), I'll start on the maps and a few articles still need to be made/editted.

as for the thrid campaign, almost the entire thing needs to be made


I've got a few questions:
is there any progress on the artwork TDOM?
and has anyone heard something from Barukhazad, his last post is almost a month old.

Btw I got an E-mail from radagastbird with the edited edition of the mining cart article, I've put it in the dropbox folder.

On what kind of article is everyone working at the moment? So we can get a list on what's in progress and what we have. And if it looks good, maybe it's time to combine the articles and make a proofreadversion? Just brainstorming
