My friend intended to use a Stone Giant in his force but doesn't know where to look for their stats? Do you guys know where they are or if they even have any? Thanks for the help.

As far as I know, Stone Giants only exist in WotR. At the very least, they only have rules int he WotR game, but no model yet.

They're in the Legions of Middle Earth Book.

In that case, they have no stats, nor model, I'm afraid.

Yeah. GW put a lot of entries into the LoME book that they haven't bothered producing rules or models for. I'd guess that, unless they get another 10 year contract or something, they never will put up most of them.

Would one of those be Black Hearted Trees?

Probably. Unless they are included in the Elf Supplement that has been expected for a long time (thats the closest book i could think of, i know black hearted trees are evil but oh well.)

Blackhearted trees are one, as is the Easterling Siege Bow and such like.

Having said that, when/if models come out, rules will come out for them in WD, much like the Easterling Dragon Knights.

Do you know where I can get the rules for black hearted trees?
You can't get stone giants, but just miliput and or green stuff scales onto a fantasy one and add gray paint, highlight, wash and or drybrush.

I believe that the only rules for black-hearted trees are in WotR and they are a terrain feature in that.

Aren't they in the Dol Guldor Sourcebook?
Same with Huorns, they don't have rules. How many models does GW not have rules for? I play 40k and fantasy and those are fine but I'm a little disappointed in SBG.

Take it this way - everything that's in WotR rulebook will at some point have LotR rules in the White Dwarf. There are no more supplements planned for LotR as far as we know.

There is nothing to be disappointed about, the game still has a massive number of profiles, you just happened not to have the ones you needed.

The assumption that they are 'models' is wrong, they are just point entries in LoME, there were never any 'models' for some of them, just plans.

Your quite literal statement is unnecessary. I simply stated that GW would certainly get me to buy more stuff from them on top of two 40k armies and on Fantasy army if they at least had rules for "plans". If you know GW really well, which you might, you would know they have a tendency to not stand true to their word all the time. This has nothing to do with ethics simply a let down that's all.

Your quite literal statement is unnecessary. I simply am attempting to say (obviously quite poorly) that GW would certainly get me to buy more stuff from them on top of two 40k armies and on Fantasy army if they at least had rules for "plans". Well you could just use the stats and points of either treebeard or a normal ent. Thats what i do... In my opinion thats closest to a stone giant.

As for a model: You can use this one by UkFreddybear, though you would not be allowed to use it in regular tournaments..

http://www.majesticbear.net/products/2

There is, by the way also an article on how to sculpt those:
http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=506

Even though they are called "mountain giants, i am sure they are just as good as stone giants.
