I think the Umbar army list really needs a revamp because there are supposed to be seven lords ruling it and we have models and stats for 2. I'm trying to come up with rules and models for each of them- one will probably be represented by the golden king, another by the old Suladan, maybe a haradrim king, a conversion of the Betrayer etc...

5 of them are already named (Dalamyr, KoU, the three from the Harad sourcebook), 2 of which have profiles (Dalamyr and KoU). Anybody got any ideas?

Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Doc, Happy, Dopey, Grumpy

Just having some fun... I like the idea of naming the Lords, but I'm sorry I couldn't be of better help.

What about the name Ardov the Fearless (or Vicious). A name I thought of the top of my head. I imagine him as either a fierce pirate lord or an evil oppresive ruler of great influence.

Ardov the Vicious

Ideas for stats

-F-S-D-A-W-C--M/W/F----110pts
-5-4-5-3--2-6---3-2-2

Wargear
Ardov carries a sword and wears sturdy armour. At an aditional cost he may have the following items.
Heavy armour--5pts
horse---------10pts

Special Rules

Fear of Our Leader
Ardov is a hardened warrior who knows how to use his troops effectively and becomes angry at his men if they lose a battle or flee. His men are afraid of the consequences of losing a fight (or battle) in the presence of their Lord and are determined to impress him. To represent this his Stand Fast! is 12"/28cm and all models within 6"/14cm of him recive +1 on their courage value.

Decimation (optional special rule-in order to balance out Fear of Our Leader)
As a punishment for losing a battle Ardov uses decimation. If a force including Ardov loses a battle and is part of a campaign then remove 1/10th of the defeated force so they cannot fight in the next battle.

hmm corsairs should not be on par with elves at fighting IMHO

otherwise nice profile, but what about +1C instead of +1F?

Sounds like a good idea since it would help them to charge models with terror such as Army of the Dead.

I'll make an edit.

Is the points value right. I based the points value on:
1. Might, Will and Fate points (35pts)
2. Number of attacks (30pts)
3. Special Rules (25pts)
4. Armour (5pts)
5. And for the rest of the profile (15pts)

@TerrorOfTheNorth, I am going to convert a model for you as a christmas project. (Partialy to take my mind of all of the revision I'll be doing during winter )

Planned conversion.
Corsair Bo'Sun and Captain plus green stuff. I'll add armour and possibly a helm to one of the models and replace the two handed weapon for a sword (I have some numenorean and orc swords in my spare parts box). I'll base the miniture with a rock I have been detailing for a suitable mini to stand on.

Expect a finished model round about january, before my prelims.

Since I don't collect any of the Fallen Realms minatures I would purely be doing this to test my modeling skills. I would happily send you a finished (unpainted or painted?) model to aid your own army. If you have any Moria or Dol Guldur minature I would be happy to trade, if you don't I'd still give it to you for free as per say a late Christmas present. It is up to you.:)

Great, cool. I have 12 (badly painted) moria goblins if you want to trade, but I'm not too bothered if you want to keep it. Would you be able to put a guide on how you did the conversion though?
I've got exams in January too...

Aren't exams "fun", I've been unwell () for the last few days so I've been revising and painting some minis. :)
All though I'm only sitting Standard Grade and Intermediate 2 prelims they are vital if I'm unwell when I have the final exams.

Back on topic I'll be ordering the blister sometime this month and I was going to draw some concept art of the conversion.

Some Goblins would be fine. Also, do you want any of the spare parts from the conversion along with the finished piece?

I'll also post a guide which means bringing out the digital camera again. :D
