Hi all

Got to hold and look carefully at the plastic sprues for the Galadhrim infantry and Galadhrim Knights today.

All heads are separate. One bare head the rest helmeted in each box. I guess you can use the bare head to denote a captain!

The standard bearers arm in the Galadhrim Knights box is capable of being added to one of the Galadhrim infantry figures, so two boxes of knights and a box of infantry and you can have a standard for the Knights and another for the infantry.

Shields are all separate so you can have:

1. elven swords/glaives and shields;
2. elven swords/glaives only
3. spear and shield; or
4 spear only
5. elven bow only

Separate right arms allow you to make many poses.

Really versatile.

Was also told that the old metal Galadhrim standard bearer (on foot) which was originally in the "Heroes of Hems Deep" box set is going to be re-released as a single metal.

The detail on the new plastics is excellent - painted properly they are gonna look very very good.
