Here is a brand new Lotus which lasted less than 1 hour on British soil after arriving at the docks because of a faulty fuel line. That's me in the pic (honest!) after putting out the fire.

Image

And here I am again at an aircraft engine fire simulation whilst training. I'm on the far left. Hot stuff!

Me on vacation in Canada... I can't seem to find any other pics of me, so here you go.
Image
(I'm gaping at my cousins whom are making a boat out of a log and plan to row out to the middle of the lake...)

And here's good ol' Canada. The other side of the lake is actually the U.S., but they don't tell you that...
Image

I'll look for some better pics of me...

soooo, one could say that I got some white council diorama landscape (see WIP forum/thread) inspiration form landscape like this I walked through in Austria (Klafferkessel/Schladminger Tauern) recently.
it was rather cold (4°C) and clouds passing by or fog with hardly 50metre view ... I sometimes felt like either across the dead marshes or in Mordor ;-9

a harsh contrast to Durin's Bane quiet bathtub like Maledivean beaches and seas...

(wasn't there once a thread with rocks/landscapes where we could post such pics?)

The waterfall is called 'High Force' (for obvious reasons) and is a major tourist attraction in the North East of England ( been there many times ), but the thing is...the tourists go when its 'Sunny' ? Which means, there is very little water coming over the rocks.

On this day, me and a mate were just out driving, we walked around Derwent Reservoir, then drove to Hamsterly Forest and walked around that for awhile...when it REALLY beagn to rain !

We knew High Force in Middleton in Teesdale was not far away, so we decide to go there...and I have to say, I am glad we did as we saw it in full 'FORCE' !!!

Wow, great picture Brian.

Here is a picture of a waterfall in Letchworth State Park. Not nearly as impressive as your waterfall (then again I live 15 minutes from Niagara Falls so I might have you beat on "FORCE" ;)).

Image

This is a picture of my brother freaking out on a roller coaster...I think you'll be able to figure out which one he is. I'm not sure which person in the picture I like more...my brother flipping out or the big girl with the sedated look on her face or the fool behind her.

Image

And finally a picture of my fish tank...I need more fish. One angry little blue damsel isn't enough. :D

Time to break up the pet partay  Yesterday me and a friend went to an Andy Warhol exhibit at our local art gallery, and the following piccy is the result of half an hour of queuing in front of a photobooth in the midst of an all-girls school...man they took so long *shakes head*

Anyway, my er...rather enthusiastic smile there(if you can call it that :P) actually takes wayy too much effort to hold for 5 seconds.

Bea is right about the eyes. There are lots of people with shades and long fringes! Don't be shy - show your eyes!

This is me with my son. I took the picture last summer on Cley hill.

This was how I looked last summer. Now I have a full head of hair which reaches half way down my back. Okay, so I'm dreaming!

Uruk and Snaga (armed with daggers).

Somehow I lost the picture of me that was posted in here...it was probably on a hosting site that no longer exists.

So I'll post a few pics of me (not that current, but I never seem to look any different except I have a full beard now)

This one I found stored away on my PC...love this picture...this is called "What the..."

Don't ask what we were looking at, I still have no idea!

Image

This is me and Rocket (who is no longer with us :( )

Image

And here is my brother Christopher in Afghanistan just about a week ago.

I dont normally do this sort of thing..well there was this one time at band camp..erm..
Anyway, I dont have too many shots of me now, I'm often found at the 'other end' of the camera. Heres' two shots of me in my past life...

Image

I have been known to look like this too

Image

But that was some time ago..I joined the Airforce in 1983 ( yes I know a lot of you weren't even born then) and left at the end of 2003, not the easiest choice for a lifestyle but it does introduce you to challenges that you would never face as a civilian and you make some great friends. Plus you get paid to do things that most people dream about..or pay big bucks to do. Now life is a lot more easy going and stable, and I have time on my hands to enjoy life.
