If you're searching for the weapon against the GW's dragon... you're on the best way :D

Scale of your work with the scales is... unimaginable for me, I couldn't sit that long, sculpting so fine details ;)

Maybe I've just missed it, but have you already made a comparative photo with some other models? Those two feet from the second page are, I guess, quite exact, but it's always different when you see the model with some others next to him ;)

Keep it up :D

Some scale (relative size to other figures) shots are on page 10.

You made my day mate...awesome ! :D

But ...

I'm going to use this opportunity to ... well ...

I was going to say 'Constructive Critisism' but it may very well be (and most likely), just my own personal oppinion !

What I was thinking, is to run the 'Spinal Spines' right to the very end of the tail, getting progressively smaller, however this would mean that the spines already in place in the centre of the back would have to be enlarged. I think this would really enhance the 'ferocity ' of the Dragon.

A good idea for the spines...

I am going to take them all the way down the tail, getting progressively smaller, like you said. Perhaps those over the legs and back should be taller but I'm not sure. It may spoil the curve of that profile. I reckon your suggestion would definitely make the dragon look more ferocious but it would also take away some of the grace and elegance of the lines.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I'll still think on it. I like ideas like that... I'd not thought about making those spines taller. Feel free to make any suggestions like that. :D

Wonderful photos, incredibly much you did on it (and still have to do :P).

It just came to me: what is he intended to do with his front right leg? Smashing a troll, scratching someone or just standing on some rock?

That first photo makes him look done, in the shadows!

Great going,

OK 1 of 2 things happened

Your wife gave you a choice of hobby or her (stay with the hobby)
you were dusting and accidently hit the dragon and all it's scales fell off.

Either way your dragon will be like a fine wine the longer it takes the better it will be.

I'll always stick with her. There's no competition.

After a refreshing break doing no work at all on the dragon, I'm back with a burst of creative energy.
