OK lately I have been looking at lots of models online mostly finished products I have noticed alot of painters use I guess they are called resin bases they are round and a bit thicker than GW bases I am sorry I dont have an example of one. If someone could point me in the direction of alternate base manufactures it would be great. Thank you in advance.

There are tons of sites that offer resin bases...my best advice would be to do a google search for resin bases in whatever size you are looking for (25mm, 30mm, 40mm, etc)

I know of several places in Britian where you can get bases (like Kerr and King), but nowhere in the US. I've actually been looking around for bases for my Shadow of the Dog Lord minis, and can't sell them with either GW or Privateer Press bases. Although I like Privateer Press's bases better, I do believe they're more expensive. Any suggestions?

That base is like the ones supplied by Privateer Press for their Warmachine and Hordes minis. You can buy them here:

Have a look around that store, they have a large number of different size and shape bases.

I thought the Privateer Press bases were PP trademarks....

Oh wait, I just checked my Circle Orboros fgures...I guess they aren't. Sweet. And these bases are not that much more expensive the GW ones, for a better base and the same amount of bases!
