There is
No size restriction for the piece and
no set theme as such as long as the piece is in keeping with Middle Earth, its is completely up to you what you would like to do with this. Models on bases on a display piece is acceptable.
The challenge commences immediately and completed projects must be uploaded to this thread by
midnight GMT of JULY 31st 2015 making the challenge last for 7 months.
Any problems or questions feel free to PM me.
Rules.
1. Any miniatures used on the diorama require proof pictures to be taken as normal with the unpainted miniature against the challenge screen. Models already primed are fine to enter and if repainting an already painted model a picture of the mini in its pre repainted state is acceptable.
2. As it is difficult to take proof pics of terrain pieces then all that is required as proof is
5 Work in progress pictures of the terrain part of the diorama must be submitted either at some point during the challenge or alongside your completed piece.
3. You may join the challenge at any point. Pictures of completed pieces and 5 WIP pictures to be uploaded to this thread by midnight GMT of July 31st 2015. A maximum of 6 pictures of your completed piece please.
4.Entries that are completed in time will be eligible to win the challenge. The challenge winner will be decided by the vote of the OR community. The community will choose one winner and one runner-up from the completed miniatures. Votes should be cast not simply on painting skill, but on merit, including creativity, application of painting techniques, artist improvement, etc. There is no prize available for the winners of this challenge, the challenge is solely for community participation and as an incentive for people to reduce their backlog and improve their painting skills.
Have fun guys!
