Oh yes it is the head of smaug :), if it looks like a Tyranid then maybe there is coming along well :).

To be honest, i don't know what a Tyranid head looks like, my first guess WAS Smaug, until i saw what appeared to be a headless Tyranid on the table :)

That's not headless, that's a Tyrant Guard. They're just hunchbacks. lol

Reminds me of the old and legendary 'Great spined dragon' from warhammer! It has tons of character already! Keep going...if your sculpting is as good as your painting, this will be epic!

Great work! I like the sculpting and am intrigued by the painting of the fellbeast's wings - the look almost translucent.
