Hi guys,

I was thinking of maybe having a special offer running in November but I thought I should get some feedback first...

My idea is to have a 'November raffle' which would be drawn on December 1st. Anybody placing an order of over £25 will be entered into the competition. The prize - 1 Ticket to go and see the Desolation of Smaug.

I personally normally book my ticket as soon as they are available so I can understand if to some people this might not me much of an encouraging prize seen as you would have ordered your own ticket by December 1st anyway.. in that case I would re-imburse you for your ticket.

Any thoughts on this?

You'd have to cap it. Different cinemas charge different prices, and some prefer the comfort of a premier seat etc which can get quite pricey. I personally would prefer to see perhaps a 'blister of your choice' up to a value of x pounds.

Hi guys,

As some of you know, I am on the GW 'Best Sellers' module which basically means that they decide what 40k & Fantasy models I stock in my shop. Basically, January sees a review of the best sellers and a couple products are removed and replaced with the 'new' best sellers.. which means I am clearing out old stuff for the new stuff. If you are interested in any cut-price 40k or fantasy models.. now is the time to act!

PM or e-mail me as always :) Here to help ...

I'm still planning on buying some stuff from you. My life is kind of all over the place these days, things should settle soon.

The address is:
59a Lightcliffe Road
Crosland Moor
Huddersfield
HD4 5BD

Or as I like to call it; My Middle Earth! I have good parking right outside the shop plus easily accessible by train and bus :)

Two dates for future Hobbit events that you might want to take note of guys:
Saturday 5th July - 'Orcward Tag Teams' - a 700point 1day doubles tournament
Saturday September 13th (my bday weekend!) - 'Woody Marvelous' - 400point singles tournament copying the same format as Januarys malice in wonderland event.

Numbers will be limited for these events so please plan in advance if you would like to attend, it would be a great chance to meet some of you and I hope many of you can make the trip :) Both events will be £10 per person and will include food. Enjoy!

I m a bit late to this party - best of luck with your new venture. I am too far south to make it to you easily, but may look in on your EBay stuff from time-to-time :yay:

I've just received an order I placed with Orc-ward Battles. I highly recommend using them for those that haven't. Orc-ward battles are able to get a very good discount on all GW products (including direct only). You don't even need to wait for them to get stock since they order from GW and then post to you. It's essentially just a way of placing orders direct with GW but with a discount! Thanks a lot Orc-ward Battles
