I like the alternative style for the guards!

thanks for the kind words guys
, I'm currently working on the golden kings carriers atm and I need to sculpt another 8 Abrakaan guard models to go follow him and his wallet wherever they go.

I'm also struggling coming up with original Egyptian 2handed weapon ideas, any help?

Seems to be good but the blury pictures makes it impossible to see any details... you have a macro option at your cam?

As above, don't know if you are using a 'phone' camera or a normal camera...if the latter, look at the settings and when photographing miniatures set it to 'Macro'.

Secondly, with most modern camera's, don't just press the button fully down....
Press it gently half way, the camera will make a noise and usually 'autofocus', then press all the way down to take the picture.

I would love to see this in focus !

Nice work! Great photos too! Put a bit of paper behind the model I find it easier to look at without other stuff in the background.

I'm sorry guys I'm having real issues with my camera at the mo, I take pics and half the time the memory card doesn't save the pic, or failing that it won't even bloody turn on
Anyway I have finished the Golden king model, and I just about managed to get 2 half decent photos

C&C welcome

Wow that's a great concept. I really like what you've done. My only criticism would be that the banner is a tad on the lumpy side. You can roll putty flat with a suitable cylindrical tool provided that you put talc powder both underneath and on top of the putty as you roll. The powder stops the putty from sticking to the work surface and the rolling tool. This is no different from using flour when rolling out cookie dough.
Once the putty is evenly flattened, you can cut it to shape. Then gently wipe off any excess powder before attaching to the rest of the model.

Hey Dave, I think I might have been in a strange head space that day as I didn't even think about how chunky the banner would be, otherwise the non stick plastic the putty is sandwiched in could do the job I usually use that for making sure weapons stay flat and don't stick to the surface their resting on.

Thanx for the feedback man. :)
