That was fun, the model grew on me. I don't know what's going on between his eyebrows in the last shot, there's nothing I can see on the mini!

I have never liked that figure for some reason Not sure why it just doesn't look right

Anyway Barks you made him look rather good especially on the face and staff

His skin colour is a bit yellowish for my liking but on the whole it is a well painted mini :yay:

I have almost finished my entry, just have to do the base. This is my first entry, what is the best way to submit the photos? if I just upload them straight onto this post I think it gives a 256kb limit, is there any way to upload higher quality photos?

Upload to photobucket. Then you can do some basic fiddling with colours and contrast and such, aswell as crop and resize.

The image at the start of this post looks like the late Alec Guiness playing Radagast.

I have taken a before and after shot, but am having issues uploading my pics?

Here is my entry for this months painting competition, my first ever entry!

It is also the first miniature I have painted that has a face (other than this Ive done 13 Uruk-hai with helmets)

Is this all I have to do to submit?

Here's my entry:

I had originally intended to enter this model for the Gandalf challenge last year. Then things happened and I never finished him. So I stripped the paint and started again. I may do some more work on him but for now I'll say this is my finished entry.

Nice work Kylimano and well taken photos too. People often do great work and then take small dark photos. Having said that, as camera improve with more mega pixels things are getting better.

I think you've done a good job on his robes, I've always found robes difficult to make then look realistic.
