This is from GrashnarTheSecond over on TLA. I really like the looks of these guys; dwarves with crossbows! :D Though it is unfortunate that they're as expensive as GW figures, even if they are resin....

From what I've read, these are in scale with the LotR-range, and they work very well aesthetically with the Grim Hammers. They would make great Dwarves of Erebor. Also, these might seem as expensive as GW's plastics (at £8.50 for six), but they're actually resin.

At the moment only Dwarves with hand axes and shields are available, but you can see some WIP of upcoming models below.

Those are some pretty sweet looking Dwarves!
Just to get a little more variety in the mix, I would add them to my collection.

I have bought a pack of 6 of these, they are really nice! I haven't tried to customise them that much though, just swapped out their shields and cut the hands w/spear off 3 Minas Tirith warriors and using them as proxy Erebor Dwarves when playing with my brother.

Would definitely buy the command and banner when they're available.

Very fast delivery as well.

They are spot on, it's quite awkward to show in photos as they're leaning forward, so I tried to use a similar posed warrior. Also shows the spear I added, they come as a body with complete left arm and right arm up to the wrist, so it made gluing on a spear w/hand really simple.

They look great, really sharp details! They also seem more realistically proportioned - not really squat and broad like other fantasy dwarves. Thanks for bringing them to our attention!

All I can think when I see them though is how horrible those ringmail beard covers would be. Instant beard trap and torture device. No true dwarf would wear such an ill devised device.

Just received my army deal today the the miniatures are excellent and at a good price considering they are resin, couldn't recommend them enough.

Thanks for posting this! I'm not sure of I'm ready to commit to them yet because I'm still head over heals with the Grimhammers. But that army deal is tempting...

They're not beard covers - these have been posted over at Chaos dwarfs Online for quite some time now (where the original posts are from) and it's mimicking the curly beards of the 4th and 5th edition Chaos Dwarf models ;)

That and I couldn't field them in a GW is fairly prohibitive

Then they are far too uniform and in a line.

They're only shortcoming in my opinion, but not diffiult to remove them and use them as Gundabad Blackshields or sculpt your own beard.

These are nowhere near as expensive as GW Hobbit miniatures. Compared with plastics, these are £17 for 12 minis, whereas with GW it's now £25 for 10. Considering they're resin it's more appropriate to compare them to current GW resin minis which are £15 for 3 - ridiculous. These are well worth buying in my opinion, I'll definitely be getting some, thanks for the post!
