If you're entering I'll need all the luck I can get; though I'm nearly done and he's looking pretty good. Pictures to follow.

My entry . . . working on a close up of the face can't really get a good balanced shot . . . any suggestions for photographing are welcome.

Very nice looking completed entries guys. Lots of layers of colours on the models. Isles I think you've outdone yourself this time around, my vote might be sold on this one.

Thanks Sacrilege, hopefully I can hold that vote. I'm still working on getting a good shot of Sharku's eyes because in the picture he doesn't appear to have any, but infact he's got very yellow and intimidating eyes. The Warg has eye work as well with standard black pupils and a very red and wet looking third eyelid.

Great work everyone, fantastic entries already 8) it's going to be a tough competition :)

I'll be entering Shagrat for this, but I've put one of my normal Uruks next to him to show what he used to look like.

These entries are looking absolutely awesome! Great work chaps :yay: :yay: I think we are in for one tight competition. I thought IsleS had my vote too, but then I saw RotM's Ocr Captain - brilliant stuff.

I am out of black :P ordered some paint tough like 2-3 weeks ago, should be here friday i hope. I also ordered trays - i hope they are like the old prices. I just saw on GW- site that they raised it from 3,5 to 5 euro's. This is really helping me out of the hobby ( also with the finecast). I think i paint what i have and be done with it. I am not a cow to be milked out.

^Join the party... Trays? Don't know much about that product. I'm also looking for alternative paints from GW and there was a topic on it a long time ago, I need to find it because there was some good suggestions.

Cheers man! :-D Its pretty simple really, undercoat with rotting flesh, then wash with thraka green, highlight with rotting flesh, add a splash of gryphon sepia then highlight again with rotting flesh and there you have it!

I had a choice of six pictures to use, in the end I settled for these four, three to show what Shagrat looks like, and the last to show what the base looks like.
