Great work, and a fantastic first attempt at OSL. Far better than I'd be able to achieve.

@Legolas 31, I was abou to say "How many hobbits do you plan on paimting for this challenge?" after I saw the photo, but then I saw that you mean to pick one. i think you should do the Frodo, since it is after all, meant to be a Frodo challenge.

hey.. decided to finish Bilbo this month.. here he is, and thanks again for the votes last month..

Base is cork on top of sand.. I cut the cork to slide the metal base into, and used superglue and liquid green stuff to seal it.. His feet are too small for pinning.. Painting eyes on Hobbits is like removing a spleen on a mouse.. with the amount of times I had to redo it, I am glad there were no living creatures involved.. Thanks!

i really like the looks of that base Laurapalmer
thewhitehand, great work on the sword - makes me want to give it a try to. Sadly i haven't gotten any further then spraying one side of Frodo in a white basecoat... :-) Bad weather and almost empty spray can.

Love the Bilbo, Laurapalmer. Nice job on the OSL, thewhitehand. 8)
Sadly, the only progress on my Frodo is gluing dirt to the base. :x

This is my first post to the forum and I'm not a very experienced painter and really a beginner but I think at least this will motivate me to paint some :D

Here my proof: sorry for the low quality, I'll find a better camera once I paint it.
