Troll King's Evil WIP

HI

My name is Curtis[Troll king], and I am 11 years old.
I was previously on the beginners thread but people but people said I should go up a level.
So as the name suggests here is a troll, Isengard if you want to know.

My dad helped with the troll's toe nails but didn't touch the berserkers - here they are, MY Berserkers.

Here are some crossbowmen and orcs with spears that we're converting.

But I'm not all evil, here are some Elves. We copied Captain Krak's autumn themed elves.[Because they are totally awesome!] Now we have some pizza herbs that we're dyeing orange for the bases...

Curtis you should start entering the monthly painting challenges, with your standard of painting you would do well I think.
Do you have any pics of your Saruman miniature he looks pretty good tho he's hiding behind his uruks on the pics above. He looks excellent and white in my opinion is the hardest colour to work with.

Excellent painting Curtis. The troll looks great and I really like the berserkers too. As DMS said, it'd be great to see you enter one of our monthly painting challenges.

Curtis, your Isengard Troll has some stunning deatails, you should definately join the challenge, just paint up a Shaman or an Orc, and you could enter this months challenge.

Great paint scheme for the troll! The base seems rather small though, don't you think?

You're right ,it is a small base. We got it off ebay and it had a small base :shock:

! So we're going to get a bigger one with space for a corpse.
Also Wah Wing is that avatar off zombies v plants? If you do see a 60mm base please send a link

And D.M.S will send Saruman pics in the morning.

I really like your work, very nice painting on the troll and berserkers, and great conversions on the crossbowmen.

Here's saruman, sorry, not a good photo, it's too dark. And some of our crossbowmen - thanks to charluke, who swapped the pikeman orcs. We messed them up the pikemen a bit with too much primer - but the conversion works really well.

I didn't post him before because my dad did quite a lot of him. So any bits you don't like, you can blame him! :lol:

Once we have finished our orc spearmen I hope we will have a scary army!

Great looking conversions, I've never thought of using pikemen uruks to convert crossbowmen but it works really well. Saruman looks very nicely painted too, white is by far one of the most difficult colours to get right and yours looks fab.

I agree with Red Corsairs, white is a horrible colour to work with but you have done an excellent job. May have to try out the pikemen to crossbow conversion theyre great!

Indeed. It is from Plants vs Zombies. If I see a link I will definitely post it!
