I've been working on repairing, restoring and repainting my best friend Mark's fell beast...it was pretty messed up in a fall and was never really painted or based. So after I fixed up his Balrog he was so impressed by the work I had done on that one he asked me if I wouldn't mind giving his fell beast the same treatment. Well due to my forgetful nature these days I put him on a shelf and left him there for the last several months; then I rediscovered him while doing some cleaning a few weeks ago and thought that doing this project for him would make a great birthday gift for him and I am sure he has completely forgotten that I had it to repair as I did.

So I reattached the broken wing, re-puttied the wing joints, added ballast to his base and primed him. I also decided to add an orc and Meriadoc to his base to liven it up a bit. Here is the latest on this project.

Sloppy work (especially on Merry), but my hands are giving me some issues lately...nothing I cannot clean up later on. At least his face looks good.

Wow, I never noticed that the wings had so much texture of them, I'm thinking that yours may look better than the GW ones, keep going

Project is completed...went on a steak this morning and wrapped it up, don't think I've done that amount of work on one model at a single sitting before. Hehe
