ok i finally got to some gluing
finished the bush and the hedge

rebased the fellowship + based eowyn and the banner ( i ll add some belts on the banner later on the evening)

I found this under a heap of dust on the closet:

I didn't remembered well how the uruk hai looked back then. I made it after the release of the two towers. I had not enough fimo for a warg so i made it dog sized. Very funny how terrible i was at claying back then.
I believe this was supossed to be shadowfax

or at least they were inspired by lotr..

added a hand on top of the banner still need to work out the fingers a little more , but i guess painting can help alot

Liking your Mines of Moria diorama so far, I was swaying whether I should buy that off ebay - do you think it's worth it? The flag looks good although I find it's to stiff and needs some swaying curves in it. Yet it does remind me of the Japanese warriors where they had flags attached to their backs (for example that new Shogun game). The hands a clever idea, I love it! Your getting better and better with that green stuff.

P.S. For your Uruk-hai I first thought he was holding a banana rather than a shield. :-D

i had only left overs to use back then.
I haven't done a thing at the mines of moria diorama. I only rebased the fellowship. (The bases were attached in the wrong direction so i had to turn the sides.)
I used a flag from the magazines (i think). It's some kind of plastic and can't have those swaying curves.
The hand is painted by now. But there some things to do b4 i can get to painting again (last steps in finishing of the comic + paper) . It seems ages since i had time to paint a bit -.-' .

That Sauron nicely bridges the gap between Dark Lord and Necromancer and would look great in a Minas Morgul, Angmar or Dol Guldor army.
