Small conversions (really small ones). I liked the idea of a cape/cloak? for an uruk hai. Might not be handy in battle with that heavy armour. But might be handy to cover up the shinning metal. The base is mere leftovers... it got to sticky and i wouldn't want it to be a waste.

Some nice additions here. you could have them looking a little more worn with some chips of the armour as well to give you that feel of Uruk-hai Veterans or something.

Drum 8)

Good news i bought a new spray can , so the ent will be around painted soon (after i finished up the balista crew guy)!
Oh and could someone plz give me some advice on this stuff ^above ^. I went to a fablab today and found some scrap. The holes have the right size. I don't know how i can best cover up those curves in the sides of those circles. And is it ok to glue cardboard under it? Or would that turn out bad with the glue?
I also wonder if there are round big bases of 8,5cm? it's to big for a troll base i guess. I tought of maybe using it for my catapult. But that might be a bad idea to? (For games- takes lots more space then..).

I wouldn't worry about the slits in the holes, try and cover it up with PVA if you base it, and i'd also put cardboard under the thing too. Great fit though, perfect fit

Lol, good find on the movement trays! Btw, like your Uruk captain, especially his face with the white hand detail.

Ty for the advice and the comments, then i ll glue some cardboard on! :)
I could have laser cut my trays! But then again 1 euro for every minute printing... i don't know if i would get my money out of it. It takes about 10 minutes for simple forms - but still it always depends on amounts, details,... But still might be a good idea for special trays. I think u can't make them any more precise then that!

Very cool 8) I don't think you need to worry about the grooves because when you base it they shouldn't show up.

already glued the cardboard on yesterday - but know i am wondering what figures to put on , so that i know how to base it.
I actually wanted to do something for the fellowship but i would like to have a tray with 9 or 10 (gollum including) holes for that.
I guess i should do something with evil hero's instead. For now i think i will put it aside, till i found out what to do.

Some small conversions...
Image
srry for the bad quality , dad borrowed the camera.
One horns, a "plume", a collar with teeth like edges and a cam.

Ok i got a camera :)
Image
So those are the small conversions..
Like i posted somewhere else i used the wrong spray can. (Kinda enoying, also because i do not plan to use that anymore... (it's brand new :( )).
Always read the small letters on the spray can! Don't go by the looks. I took the spray can i noramally take. But i did not see the small letters in a small corner saying "double coating" instead of "basecoat".
This is the shiney result of this kind of stuff.
Image
I tryd to paint it. Not really good. Except for being shiney, the paint doesn't stick to well. But it does give really nice the colour of the paint. Hard to mix with that stuff...
Image
I got 13 victims on this stuff. Luckely i deceided to spray only a few today... Damage could have been worse. I got 2bombs, 10 minis and my ent in this stuff. I am glad the ent has been saved a bit.

The ent is looking good. You could try the vallejo brush on matt varnish. That will cut the shine and seal your paint job.
