still rethinking wether i ll make a hatch on the upper level or not. I might use the mom board hatch so i can replace it.
Dunno if ladders would be a good idea? I guess gobs could climb down the wall to?

Great work 8)

I think Goblins can climb down walls because in the movies you see them all swarming down the pillars from the roof.

I'd add stair cases if I where you. You can fit the miniatures easy on wide stairs. Also build columns for cover.

might be a good idea to make removable stairs
next time i am in the mood to make some terrain, i will make pieces to put in the room - like rocks or walls,... (all removable)

ok did a bit of sculpting

That should be it, for the sculpting part. Enough leaves i think. Maybe a small piece of bark more on the back. (For a better shape.) but not to much.

ty guys,
@oldman willow: i stripped paint instead :)

Anyone knows if this paint is stripped enough? I prefer a white basecoat... but there is still a lot of black. Dunno if this works for a white or black coat? Or it will need more stripping.

The figures with color still on them could use more stripping.

They are good enough in my eyes, that's the result my stripping comes out to. To get the tiny bits out of nooks and crannies, get a cocktail stick and poke them out :)

tip on removing paint without getting the fingerproblem:
use brake fluid (you can find in most DIY shop or carshops). Just put in a plastic cup, put the models in it that you need paint removed and let it stand for a few days (the time gets shorter or longer depending on how long ago it was painted). After that just wash of the paint with running water, it'll come right off without even having to scrub

Brake fluid has the problem of melting plastic models and being difficult to dispose of safely since it is toxic.

I think i will redo the process once more and let them in longer (maybe a day). The product works great - i think i just had to wait longer then an hour...

brake fluid ain't toxic, and it doesn't melt the plastic, not the gw ones anyway (I got a horse sitting in a can of it for over a week now). Beside's, if it would be hurtfull to plastic then why do carmanufacturers put it in plastic pots in the car? True, you can only dispose of it at the recyclingpark but you can clean a lot of mini's before having to do that. Just don't paint them right away after having removed the paint or the new paint doesn't stick, you'll have to wait for a day or 2 after rincing it with water.

Your right, I guess I was taking the warnings on the label too seriously.

It does however soften plastic. I had some Tau Fire Warriors soaking in it and after a day the paint came right off, but the details on the figs were noticeably blurred. They were still usable but I could definitely see and feel a difference in the plastic.

Simple Green is a much better answer since you can simply dump it down the drain or pour it out on the grass after you are done with it.
