Just a hint is to see if you could use any styrene, it is what I use for shield and weapons.

Sorry but the chainmail really looks bad sorry to say but it is really easy to fix. First remove what you have now maked then: Try to make a smooth layer on the arms and try to push little holes in the layer that makes a much better effect for chainmail then this.

This is the back of the sculpt. I am sorry but i kept the bad chainmail

But advice is always welcome. ( I might be aware of it when i sculpt another time.) . I might put on a picture of the front tomorrow. It's hard to take pictures when it's dark.

Yeah, chainmail looks like suction cups.

But you've done a good job!

Each time you do this you get better and better.The armor looks like leather reinforced with rings.As you learn more control you can work on a more historical look. I like the cartoon look.

looks great! I'd love to sculpt like that. The face turned out really well, I think that's my favourite part. I'm guessing he's a Corsair was it?

Well, my first idea was to make myself - but that's kinda a failure. The figure should have been some kind of rent a soldier type. Taking side of what i play at that moment. Good or evil. But i guess he would make a lovely corsair - considering the wooden floor beneath his feet. Can't wait to paint him. I hope he will look better painted.
