what do you think of 'faramir' (if that is his real name...)

1. it's not Faramir, it would'nt ve Faramir even if the movie did'n exist.

2. He look's like a drunk (as I wrote in the other thread)

3. The colorscheme make him look a bit like a Dol amroth (not much though)

4. We dont need a new Faramir, they could have sculpted other miniatures instead. Purhaps some elves? ; )

5. HE IS AWFUL

I hate it. This models just is not Faramir to me. And then there is another named Nazgul - who's name I also hate (though the figure itself doesn't look too bad). And then there is the fluff for the GW created models - hate it all!

This also raises some serious questions: how many other heroes will suffer this treatment?

I really hate this model. I wish they would have brought out a ranger Faramir mounted. That would have been really great. This one looks...I don't even know.

He's leaning too close to a Warhammer Fantasy Empire sculpt for my tastes. The "fat" effect looks to me like the heroic scale starting to creep in.

They need the Perry Bros back and they need their sculptors spending more time looking at the WETA designs instead of allowing them to boldly go where they've already gone in their other game system ranges.

Why did the even make a new Faramir there are lots of other minis they should mkae instead

I agree that a mounted Ranger Faramir would be a much more welcome addition to the line.

This one? Well... The shield would work really well for Fountain Guard. Maybe I'll use it as a knight captain.

Anyway, I hate it. I won't buy it!
it's an insult to Faramir in a form of a model. not a new paint job, diet, or even a face lift will make him even close to Faramir.
