It's alive! Alive! *cackles*

Wow it's been a whole 5 months since I've updated this :S

Time to do some catching up! I've been doing some stuff on the side as well as Bram's commission in the T09G (i.e. the HE). And here they are:

Glad to see you back painting again John! :D Your models are very nicely done as always, and I hope that you stay painting minis as well as you do!

Great stuff John! 8) Frodo is looking really good and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Lurtz.
I think Gandalf needs a few more layers on the white robes but there's a lot of expression in his face which is lovely! :yay:

Hey again chaps, some more stuff which is hitting the update stream :)

Exams are over, and my 4 and a half month holiday has begun. Unfortunately I spent the last 2 days playing Modern Warfare 2, and so I haven't done too much painting (although MW2 is easily one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing :D).

Anyways, here are some updates!

Image

He's practically done but I still need to add a White Hand

Image

Again, nearly done, but the contrast is pretty lacking so again, after painting the base I may need to ramp up the highlights on his jerkin.

Cheers :)

That uruk is Perfect. It reaches GW's standard of painting. I'm saying that in a good way. :)

I love sam too. Some parts of him are better than GW's way of painting him. I admire how you have done the highlights on his knee.

Keep it up :D :yay:

Great painting, John. The Uruk-hai looks fantastic, and I can't help but love Sam with a frying pan! :)
