It's nice mini, but why both standard and armour aren't shaded nor highlighted? It's a big floss that ruins final resul of this mini fix this and it'll be top notch ;)

That horse is BRILLIANT! Although I agree that the bright pink tongue doesn't quite fit and perhaps silver head armour would be better (or better highlights), as the brass/gold armour clashes with the horse's skin/hair (?) colour.

Though would you mind explaining how you painted the the horse? It's really good! 8)

I have to update my first post here and change the list for WotR. Here you have a Galadhrim company. One to say - I will change colors scheme; this one take too much time.

Regal Blue -> Ultramarines Blue -> Ice Blue -> Skull White (a little bit).

"Dust"
Gryphone Sepia wash -> Bleached Bone -> Skull White.

Well..
1. I bought a Mixing Pot,
2. I poured all GW's metalic paints to this pot,
3. I tried to achieve a good (for me) colour. Sometimes had to add lighter or darker metalic paint. It's good to check our mixed paint on (for example) a sheet of paper before painting miniatures. This will help us to say if this paint is good and ready.

Then I painted armours, washed them with green wash (Thraka Green).
When it dried add to our metalic mix some light silver and paint edges.

I hope my English isn't so bad and you understand ;)

I agree. Well said, that man. :)

The bases are a good example for gaarew. They are definitely worth the effort.
