Hi, I just wanted to mention how much I like your painting. I've gone through this thread form your first Uruk-hai (whom I really like) to your current project. I have you say that you have been steadily improving. Each figure looks better than the previous one.

So Harad article is ready, now I only need to translate it..

In the meantime I started painting Gamling with Royal Standard /mtd. I've bought him over 2 years ago so I figured I'll paint him with NMM just to compensate his ego

What do you think (metallics mailny).

I think I have to brighten the horse a bit...It was brighter before varnishing (wes I varnished hores just in order not to ruin my work on it

)

i think seeing as you are already in the habit of writing articles, another one concerning those amazing NMMs is desperately needed!!!!

Thanks guys, but I don't think I'm the right person to do NMM article since I haven't done it properly enough and my painting is strictly intuitive.

Anyway quick update just before todays share of uni time

Gaarew - hate is a powerful tool

use it wisely i.e paint your army in rage

:D

Pics came out a bit blurry :/ There'll be another uptade soon so than I'll fix it

I love the NMM! Wish mine was as good as yours!
But the face is really admirable aswell! You gave him the right expression which makes him look different but oh so great, from the others I've ever seen! Topjob so far mate!

Wow, the NMM is just a pleasure to look at...I admire people who can pull that off. I don't think I've ever seen a better example of NMM...great job!

I've missed this thread. Those Haradrim of yours are amazing!!! I absolutely love them. Gamling is turning out to be a splendid miniature as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing your take on the banner.

Sure you did, but thanks, such reactions actually make me hate NMM less

Ok I've finished this masochistic project. If I ever try such thing again bash my head. (now only Boromirs mounted left

)

Here's something for those who would like to say that horse isn't highlighted. I brightened it up a bit just to show thata it's so dark by choice , maybe tommorow in daylight I'll be able to take some better pics.

As for NMM - noted. I'll try to paint a hero with it now and than

But no more NMM on mini that has banner + freehands... Banner itself took me 3 days most of which I was trying to convince myself to do it. I'm quite happy with the freehands tough, and even horse on the banner reminds something like a horse so it's good- I was never big on 2D painting

Any fool with enough money can amass a collection like mine, but it takes real skill to be able to paint even one of them to your standard.

I don't think I could stand view of another one...not for now anyway

WotR coming is followed with some commision that came to me so here's in "Still to Come" box

Plus some time next week I'm expecting my Haradrim pack to arrive , that includes Box of Haradrim, Box of Haradrim Raiders, 3 Blisters of Watchers of Karna and 2 Blisters of Half-Trolls. That all to be painted for EEGT since I'm trying to defend last year Best Army Award. Keep your fingers crossed
