Good stuff, you're a very consistent painter when it comes to quality!

All I can say is WOW!
Your Fellowship is stunning!
The colours are so rich and stunning. I love it!
The tones on Gimli and Aragorn and the richness in the Hobbits colours makes me want to paint them all over again.
I also love the lush bases.
All I can say is don't change a thing.
Great work! :yay:

Well thanks. I like how that Fellowship turned out also.

Here's update on Harad Warrior. I decided to go for some dark Gold giving that it will be later decorated with some jewels.

I've also started this colour scheme on 14 other guys so hopefully by the end of the week I'll have the first Harad company painted ;)

Great blending! The neutral tones look fantastic and have a nice 'deserty' feel about them.

Just simple Bestial Brown highlighted by adding Bleached Bone.

So after week of painting I've got the first round done. Now I'm going to juggle colours a bit with the next batch to alter my army.

Anyway let me know which Rim colour do you prefer. Personally I'd go with Scorched Brown of Bestial Brown, but I pust 3 other for comparison purposes.

Awesome work 8)

I'm not a good painter, even after 11 years, lol, but I've always been more of a gamer, however stunning paintjobs like these give me something to aim for in the future :D

Well done and keep it up!

Amazing stuff once again Viktor! I'll always be behind you in terms of trying to blend my highlights as well as you! The unit of Haradrim look great!

Thanks Guys. I'm glad you like it. I'm aiming to finish it by EE GT in April. Still I've got two or three more such regiments left and than I have to buy and paint some more of other Harad units.

Those are technically not finished yet due to lack of apropriate foliage packs in nearby hobby shop. They will be finished with some fall-themed both static grass and some modelling sponge.

Viktor, my old friend, those are probably the best Haradrim I have ever seen! Absolutely love your unique colour scheme! Superb blending on top of that ;)

the colours you used look so much better then any other I've ever seen on these figures! Excellent choice!!
Your skin-tones look mindblowing aswell! The detain in their face is amazing!

Can I beg you for an article on painting haradrim with this alternative colour-sheme, the way you did them?
They have all an article would look awesome with! And it would be so nice to see you sharing your techniques, couse those colours are darn hard to paint....
/me plings some shiny goldcoins making them sparkling their reflected light into Victor's eyes to force... I mean... seduce him writing a guide...

:puppy:

Thanks guys for all comments. They really motivate me to at least keep up my game.

Anyway there's another part not finished yet thoug. I must say that this combo of clolours is less appealing than previous one but maybe when I'll see it finished....who knows. I'm planning on redoing gold on them to give it that dark gold look from prevoius batch. Also I'm Wondering If that white is't to much and wether to add another layer with mix of bleached bone and skull white on 'main' layer of clothers.

About that article Bucky I must say that I've ben thinking about making one about WE but now maybe it's time to rethink some stuff ;) I'm getting back my camera next week so maybe than I'll write something. I have to do that anyway because I haven't write anything on my site in over 6 months, and than I think I could tranlate it and post it here ;)

Very nice work.

I like how you have applied a more 'Real World' colour scheme to these guys, it works very well.
