Those elves came out great! I really like the colors as well, and Haldir's face looks fantastic. I think some of the highlight on his tunic could be smoother though.
Amon Hen turned out nicely as well!

Cheers! Yes, Haldir definitely looks better at arms length rather than extreme close-up, I need to try to improve my highlights, see if I can introduce more blending between colours.

I had 2 mounted Theodred models, but no Theodred on foot, so Eomer volunteered his legs to remedy the situation:

Not to shabby looking. The two models blended pretty well.

Not many Uruk Hai left to do now, and my whole Isengard army will be complete! Except for, of course, Warg Riders, Saruman, Grima etc etc. But still.

Here are 3 demolition teams, and one Berserker who somehow didn't get painted when I did all the others:

Everything from the Rohan houses to the Uruk Hai look great, slinky! I really like the Theodred conversion as I can imagine having an on foot version of him would come in handy. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next as you have a nice variety in your hobby projects.

Very kind, thanks Kuribo!

A few more Uruk Hai today...

Ballista (sadly missing a few bits, but enough there to make the point ;) ):

And some ladders, ready to scale the walls of Helms Deep:

Awesome stuff. You going to be playing a Helms Deep scenario with those?

Cheers :)

In the fullness of time, yes, I am working through getting all the models and scenery ready for all the Journey Book scenarios, but haven't even started playing them yet ;)

Nice looking Uruks! The Theodred conversion also works really great.

I've been there myself  I think I spent over a year adding to my collection, painting the models and building the terrain before I started my campaign! Keep going though, it is most definitely worth all the prep :-D

The wood on the siege engines is really well done. Sometimes they can be an afterthought in many people's armies but that is not the case here! Getting ladders done is always a nice accomplishment as they can be a little monotonous to paint too. Keep up the excellent work, slinky!

Thanks for the encouragement!

Got some more Uruk Hai done - This actually completes all the Uruks I plan to paint, so it's something of a milestone :)

First, Scout command:

And 3 Feral Uruk Hai:
