So... If I feint, but use my sword as a two-handed weapon, does the re-roll of a one apply to the natural roll or the roll after bonuses.
Also, any idea how to submit this question for a FAQ?

I guess you'd have to email GW or call their support line and get an email for the ME team in order to get them to answer it in the faq.

The rules state that you can re-rol rolls of a 1. This means the natural dice result. Even with the +1 modifier the roll is still a 1 but counts as a 2 for the purpose of wounding the opponent.

I don't mean to sound rude but how do you know that is what it means? The wording under the two-handed section implies that the To Wound role gets a +1 to the result shown on the die, not +1 to the result when applied to the chart. The feinting role also does not say anything about the 1 being natural. Was their an old faq that I missed? Is this occurrence just so common with other games that it is a generally excepted interpretation that needs no explanation?

I mean, the natural roll would seem logical, otherwise you just destroyed your fight value for nothing... On the other hand, Anduril is now failing on 2s only.

The response will hopefully be in a FAQ.

I'd assume they'll keep it consistent across the games. In both AoS and 40k, re-rolls always happen before modifiers, despite the weird situations that can come up, where you can't re-roll a roll that would fail after the modifiers, despite the rule allowing you to re-roll "all failed rolls."

I'd clearly say, if you throw 1 it's a 1. Everything afterwards are just Boni.
In the german rulebook, it's clearly stated at some points, that you have a "3-throw" or a "5-throw" where the dice is shown, thats your throw, and afterwards you modify. (on the other hand: I had some bad experiences with the german translation lately)

Ah, thank you! Now to spam 2-handed Anduril with feinting... Fear me.

I am disappointed that the SBG team did not take the time to clear it up officially with the recent FAQ. Since the general consensuses that the affects are applied after rerolls I will treat it as such until I hear any better arguments. I'll have to keep it in mind with my elves, clansmen, and especially Hurin the Tall in the future.

Even if you were str10 and the target was Defense 1 you would usually need a 3+ to wound, if you two-handed the attack the +1 to wound would make this a 2+ to wound and if you feinted then you would reroll a 1 for a single extra chance. I’m guessing the confusion is in saying that the actual dice roll is modified to a different number which no longer counts as rolling a 1, but it’s the number you need that is modified imo not the dice roll.
