BFME 2?

After a talk with Mr. Tobold in the chatroom, i heard that plans were being made for Battle for Middle Earth 2. Basically, it seems that EA have aquired the rights to use elements that did not happen in the films in the next game (e.g. Swan Knights of Dol Amroth, Dwarves in the North against Goblins, etc.)

Now, after a google search, i found these screenshots; HERE
I have no idea whether they are genuine, whilst they do look it, i do very much doubt EA would be releasing screenshots when the release date is Spring 2006. I would say they are either concept images or something that someone has put together themselves.

Anyway, what do you think? I know i will be getting it. Though i dont like the look of that Watcher in the Water in the middle of (Gondor)

I have heard rumors of an expansion not a totally different game. Those pics might be fakes because if you play online and get player made maps you would know that the people who make the maps are talented at it. Some have made new characters and everything.
The game sounds good. I guess that adding more armies would be good. But i rather would have an expansion instead of a new game. That way you can keep the first one on and stuff. But moria sounds good but a little wierd i mean what buildings woudl you ahve besides troll den or goblin hole? Dol Amroth sounds good. Mabey they will have a real elf army. Heck dwarves hobbits you never know. Sounds good though

very nice, but cave trolls are meant to turn to stone when exposed to light and goblins hate the light

2. Thats hill trolls.

Its fake! The troll boat is at least. Look closely at the goblins. I see 2 orc trackers, the goblin with whip is a metal goblin mini and some metal goblin archers. This makes me happy cos i noticed it, and annoyed cos its fake, that may just be the boat though.

fair enough, from my sources, it didnt come from there but okay. I just thought it looked too stupid. I mean they have screwed it up a bit with the goblins. I guess GW let them use their minis in the design process. Cheers for clearing that up though.

They are the Goblin riders i think. They can climb over walls so you cant get away. You have to kill them.

Looking at some of the pictures from the site ma`kes me dissapointed. The thing though that did make em ahppy was when i hit refreash and the ringwraiths on horses came up. That looked awsome. I think one shot has like dwarfs with catapults and stuff and alot of it looks odd. Hope they do better. Im sure though ti will awsoem on the release date.

The tactics game from the article sounds good too.
