 Post subject: my progress. in middle earth

Well got this beauty of the wife for christmas, iv got Azog and a few hunter orcs stored away in a box some were, but cant find them. so starting new. iv got some Gundabad spear guys ordered and a pack of the FW berserkers on the way. SO on with some painting.

Now I know why I have never purchased a model from GW and I never will.
Their pricing is outrageous.

a footed and mounted in the box, and from that remark you not touched FW models lol.

well i picked up Azog (footed and mounted) yesterday, found my Gundabad captain so a good day and picked up soem primer today so even better! more painting to be had. now if i can get to grasp with it and this cold let me i will try and finish the metals on Bolg. ta for now

Bolg is 99% finished. Just to varnish and then add some tuff of grass to base and a little snow (maybe?) but other than that he done, working on a Gundabad captain and mr postman bought me a pack of berserkers also have the Ogre's making there way to me this week.

Easy to build a few gaps to fill/smooth but lovely little kit.

thank you. Others are in works, captain at moment, not much really to show other than boltgun washed armour and brown cloth.... 2nd Ogre turned up to day so wow. next on painting table will be the Beserkers. which im hoping to prime in morning if weather let me.

well managed to get a base layer and wash on to these guys

And managed to make 2 banner waver guys, pretty fun to make. tried to copy sketches from the Art of War book (well worth picking up)

I really love the look of the gundabad orcs. Your painting in then is very good as well. 8) I really think that I ought to buy some of these guys.

thank you. i think same as most painter my painting is pants. as its the least enjoyable bit about the hobby (wargaming in general) i find lol. Its nice day today so will try and get some closer pictures.
