That's a lovely Grond, and the conversion of all those Knights is ambitious. They look very cinematic together.

Great looking Grond and lots of minis! Good luck with the painting. I suppose seeing all the unpainted stuff can be daunting or make one feel guilty but paint a few every week and the numbers start to mount up.

So after seemingly forever, I'm only 40% of the way through the armour.

I must admit I'm feeling pretty demoralised at the moment!

Don't be demoralized, they're looking great! I'm doing some of these myself right now, there's a TON of silver to do on them! The foot ones at least are probably 60-70% armour.

Just thing of how they'll look once finished, you'll have a belting looking force with which to crush the tide of evil!

*Finally* finished, after 14 months :S

I'm fairly happy with them - done to a tabletop standard. There are probably a few bits here and there that I can come back to improve if I ever feel the need. For now I'm happy to move onto something else at last.

Man...that's so darn impressive ! Great job by you. Id love to see some more close up shots and some more of the detail.

You should be really proud of your work here - pat yourself on the back !

That swarm of Dol Amroth dudes is looking mighty impressive. You should be proud of yourself for getting them all done.

Keep up the good work.

That's an impressive looking army! I tried to spot all different conversions for the foot knights, but that's rather hard with these photo's. Could you post some pictures with all different foot knights please

Thanks for the comments guys, it helps!

Apologies for the delay, but here are some individual shots of the SKODA:

As I mentioned before they're just done to a tabletop standard, certainly not looking to win any painting contests.

I've had a bit of a break after this lot, but just did some High Elf Spearmen to get myself back into the swing of things. Biggest priority with these was the good a gold/green colour that I was happy with.

Yeah spot on. *shudder* Never doing it again.

Finished a couple of additions to the High Elf force:

Not completely happy with Elrond, but for now I'm happy just to get some models done. Might move on to some Numenoreans next.

Beautiful Dol Amroth Knights!

What paint scheme are you using for the High Elves?

Thanks, I've tried to keep the scheme relatively simple as I want to be able to match it easily down the track.

Fenris Grey then a Devlan Mud wash for their skirts
Runefang Steel for the chainmail
Auric Armour Gold for the armour
50/50 Runefang Steel and Loren Forest for the cloaks
Wash the armour and cloak liberally with Woodland Scenics' Green Undercoat liquid pigment
Stormvermin Fur for the sash, then highlighted up
Kislev Flesh for their faces

Apologies if some of those paint names are out of date.

I've moved onto some Numenoreans to break up the last alliance theme, and am currently working on some simple conversions:

If anyone else has Numenorean conversion ideas I would *love* to see them!
