Thanks everyone :)

As you can see, I haven't been particularly active on these boards for a while but I've got back into some painting again over the past few weeks and have been working on this mounted Boromir mini over the last week. I really tried to push my painting a bit more and had a go at NMM as well as trying for smoother wet-blending. I'm really pleased with the result but am looking forward to hearing your feedback :)

It was a great figure to paint. The old LOTR metals are just superb miniatures, IMO.

Anyway, here are pics of the finished model on its display base. C & C most welcome!

Here's a quick WIP shot of Floi. Skin, boots, blue cloth, white cloth and the NMM on the scale mail is all done. Just the cloak, staff, hair and book left... :)

C & C welcome!

Wow it's been almost a year since I posted any updates here!

Apologies for my lack of activity around here. Anyway, I'd been doing a bit of painting recently which involved tidying up half-finished minis to tabletop standard and decided to reward myself with this. Tricky enough in parts but I think it turned out pretty well. All comments/criticism welcome!
