Hey guys. I do like my Mumak but I frankly hate the base. I first of all want to make it a desert/jungle theme, and second vastly dislike all the dead Rohirrim.

I get the idea that its from pellanor, but how many time on the table will I just play Rohan vs Harad??

I dont want to paint a bunch of useless bodies to any standard.

What would you guys say is the best material for a replacement out there so I can start fresh and create me own base? It doesnt need to be amazing. Just something easy and inexpensive.

edit: lol^ I said me own base. I just imagine blackbeard asking about this now. Ill leave it in.

With some luck you might find wooden bases of the right size on ebay.
Or make it yourself.

We would buy the appropriately sized oval base from GW.

I wanna make it myself buys. I have the bases already. 2 of them. I dont feel like spending money on a model Ill use once or twice in the next year and a half lol.....

Im not sure of the size, but I can measure if I had the right material.

I appreciate the comments, but nobody is really actually replying to what I asked lol. Just need material not a base.

If you are going to texture to cover the existing base with pumice or something, I have used this pumice before to base my models. You can put it on thick enough to cover the existing base.

Use to be able to buy it at Michael's, now have to mail order it or fine a good art supply store.

If you mean what material, we would use MDF or HDF board and cut out the shape.

I had the same problem, I just covert the original base with clay and a layer of glue. added green stuff ( meaning leaves plants etc. ) and done :)
