good report. a couple of thoughts
- why picking a dwarf ranger with bow? It's as expensive as an elf archer and not as effective.
- the eagle leading a solitary charge...that's something I wouldn't have done. Eagles have only 2 attacks, and even their hero has only 1 might. Very bad move.
-how much luck does it takes to wipe out the wault wardens with Bowfire? we're talking of 6 followed by a 5.

Yeah....can you explain how two vault wardens went down in one round? Might was used?

I understand the black arrow, but damn. Killing two Vault Warden teams requires a lot of luck even with 12 Mirkwood Rangers, the best archer warband in the game easily....

As for the report, make the cuts at the end of every turn or other turn and explain what happened, while taking a quick glimpse of the field after the move phase.

Nice though. Wish the Dwarves kicked more ass.

I played a similar game wood elves vs dwarves at 450pts

Was like hmm

legolas + 10 wood elves blade/spear
Haldir + 6 wood elves with bow + 3 galadhrim
Galadhrim captain + 3 wood elves with bow ´2 galadhrim

vs

Erebor captain + 10 dwarves shield/spear
Grimhammer captain + 10 dwarves shield/spear
Erebor captain + 2 dwarves + 6 grimhammers

The first 2 turns with elven shooting elves were killnig dwarves like crazy (5 shields and 2 spears died to elven shooting) (when i needed 6s to wound)
I lost later on cause legolas + 2 galadhrim + 3 wood elves couldnt kill the worn out erebor captain with shield (he holded that for like 3 turns) while the remain forces, elves needed alot punch to kill and they had managed to get more characters into the fight. Haldir died though

Ya bard and legolas used lots of might to take down the vault warden teams. And after the battle we talked to him about the eagle he is still new to the hobby so he is learning. I think the elven list has a ton of shooting and he rolled very well even for dwarves.

After seeing that many six, I would have asked my opponent to lend me his dice.
Then I would have hit him in the head with those. Repetedly. Just to see how many six I'd get.

Lmao and @op that explains it. Id say in this scenario that was a good risky choice.

Taking out like 50 or so poonts and high defense models with arrows is worth it.

Ya it was a good choice I honestly didn't see them dying. And ya I vs this list with my isengard and he shot down my army even with fury haha. his dice are magic I guess.
