Thanks Phil. I'm kind of glad I have another of this model coming up in the next few months as I would like another go at it. Never did get the green cloak to a place where I liked it. The detail felt too sharp if you know what i mean (F/Cast) - next one is metal, lets see if there is a difference.

Fantastic work once more! The quality of your work is exceptional enough, but the speed at which you knock this stuff out is the icing on the cake!

Favourite Legolas? Probably the one with the standard shooting pose and the cape, I think it was a Two Towers one (maybe Helm's Deep?)

Wow the whole ranger/wild tone really works for you DMS. Would love to see you paint an Aragorn from the Three Hunters set that your Legolas is from.

Looking good. Not sure on my favorite legolas-most are very simliar. I know I like the heroes of the west one the least. Gimli suffers from a simliar fate. Most are very blocky, with the exception of helms deep, which is proportionally more subtle and correct.

I agree Gene about the blocky sculpts when it comes to Legolas. Legolas is my bogey model. No matter how much i try and put into the paint job i never get it to a place where i'm particularly happy. Next time maybe.

Wow, I always thought that Legolas sculpt looked a little iffy, but in your hands, you are right it could be the best Pose. Very nice :yay:

Beautiful work, especially on Gimli (but don't tell the elf).
