Hi gentlefolk,
Looking to grab a mounted gandalf the grey model but might wait and see if we get a new one with the possible next wave. What is your opinion?

If there's a next wave (and I think there probably will be, but not for a while), a new Gandalf is almost a dead cert at some point, and I reckon it'll include a mounted version.

I suppose it depends on whether you can get a particularly good deal. If I was offered something great, I might be tempted to just get it here and now regardless of any future releases.

I would say it's unlikely to be honest. If there is another wave it will likely be filled with digital creatures that were added to the film's late on. Everything released this year was for the BOFA supplement, Gandalf on horse's profile is in AUJ, if he was going to be released I think he would have been released at some point over the last two years.

I'd try and get the old model if you can, it's a lovely sculpt. I'd say if you can get it for less than £40 then you've got a good deal.

This one is a tricky one, it'd be nice to have some information and not be kept in the dark completely regarding The Hobbit in 2015. I would've thought a Gandalf foot and mounted pack would be a certain release however if he was going to be release I believe he would've been released with last weeks White Council/Radagast release wave.

I agree with Dr Grant now that if there is to be anymore releases in 2015 it may only be the digital/late change releases, perhaps something like Iron hills release and an evil release around August. I'm really hoping we get as many releases as possible.

I actually need a Gandalf on foot for my BOTFA display board. I don't want the DOS one for it as it is too static for a battle and I already have the one released with Bilbo for a different project so don't want to double up, if he isn't released I may have to check what the lotr sbg section has to offer.
