My vote goes to Sam on pony. Really love how he is painted. Great highlights, well executed! Gives him a lot of character.

Eaothan for me. Great painting, subtle highlighting on the horse and showing overall great brush control.

The choice and the basing(along with painting...dont get me wrong...I just love good basing and ideas) was great for Coenus Scaldingus.

But the Elf of Eaothen-the-brave won me over by a slim margin. The elf pose, paint, basing etc.

Nice work guys.

As for the rest.......

nic0- I love the pose the wraith is in along with the reds. I am reminded of the Bree doors being knocked down by the wraith's horses in the Fellowship of the Ring by that.

J.R.-Hard for me to love it by the fault of GW. I dont like that Glorifindel. Haha. But....I love the cape. Also, the way you did the horse and his eyes makes me think of I guess...... the intensity of the situation of the charge. Its a devastating thing for cav.

cal585-I love the horses color. I like the Faramir pose. Great memories of return of the king. The basing is nice. Its unique. People dont really use dark colors. Which to me....I hate when LOTR minis look like a rainbow. Yours looks like some fields that actually could have been ridden on.

Good work all!

I really like Eaothen's but for me I had to go with Coenus.I really think the face is exceptionally well done, good shading and all, especially on a model that small.

For me it has to be Eaothen's wonderful figure. The whole colour scheme works really well and he was even able to do the thin gold patterning on the bottom of the Galadhrim's cloak.

That mushroom on the base is really cool as well :)

Nice work folks - for me it was a very close contest between 2 minis.

Thanks for the votes guys! It was a close call.

I would also like to say that the other contestants did a great job. All models had something nice, unique too them. Cal's Faramir for instance, I really like the robe and it's highlights. It's but a small part of the model, but it really adds something to the character.

Glorfindel was a nice conversion. I'm not fond of the GW version of him. Also, I like his horse a lot!

The ringwraith's coloursheme was nice too. Personally I prefer the black robes from the movie, but he reminds me of the servants in LotRO a lot. Interesting indeed!
