This willbe another figure in my diorama. I have made a start on the face and it will give you an idea of the colour scheme, what do you think ?

The skin tone looks awesome. What colors are you using?

I'm not amazed.
Don't get me wrong, it's another good example of your technique.
It seems you've applied several glazes (I think I can distinguish a purplish trace) which add an extra depth to the skin's colour.
Hopefully, the rest of the model will be as good as the face (I do not doubt it :) ), I'm waiting for the completion of your diorama, , as many others, I suppose.
Keep it up.

I really like it. There's quite a bit ff realism to it IMO. And it's kind of funny to see it with the white model as it makes the face really pop at ya

Thanks everyone
Now then colours, hmm, started with VMC beige brown brown base, added VMC sand yellow for highlights, VMC ivory for further highlights to pure.
Used GW lichen purple and VMC dark Prussian blue for shading plus some VMC black glaze.
Added Baal Red and Deval Mud glazes also and a touch of dark green (can't remember which one )

Lovely skin tones, very realistic. Personally though I'd tone down the violet in the tongue, looks a little too vivid.

I think your right. I was never too happy with the tongue so I will add a few dark red glazes.

I really like the Troll's skin tone. And I agree the armor needs more work but it's progressing nicely

It's looking wonderful, so far. It's cool to see this miniature come to life, as you progress.

I think I spot some nice glazes on the metal work :)

Thanks fellas, progress is really slow as we are selling our home and busy looking at others and all that.
I just hope I finish for the diorama challenge.

Out of curiosity, why are you doing it in segments rather than all over?

Each area is taking a lot of work applying multiple glazes. I'm trying this method out to see how it comes together but realistically, with me paying so much attention to small areas, doing that for each glaze across the figure would become mind numbing.
I believe that this way I can work each area properly and see my progression.
Once all areas are completed I will revisit areas that need more attention to make this pop a bit more.

More work on the armour and I can hope you will see how I am trying to go with this. I want this to be a stand out piece and is taking time getting there.
