Good heavens he's an angry chap, he seems to have no reason to be this vexed with his impressive stature.....

This guy looks strong enough to pull the ears off a gundark!

In all seriousness the painting is great and makes him look rather fearsome...maybe make a mounted version where he is on a beast of gorgoroth....

Your Azog sculpt looks quite incredible! Wish THAT was the GW one as I'd much rather have one of those.

As to the Beserker I'm with Mr. Bear, I'd recommend a loin-cloth.

Wow, your sculpting is amazing, mate! All this time I've seen you on here and have never taken a look at your wips or anything, I've been missing out!

Azog especially is lovely! Being more of a painter than a gamer, I'd need a really ace mini to plop down my hard-earned $50 and GW's official one sure didn't make me want to!

For anyone wondering about Mr Cúchulainn, this from Wikipedia (there are scores of other references you can look up elsewhere)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%BA_Chulainn
He's just an average sort of guy for this area really :) Good fighter, very obstinate.

I like the conversions - would like to see more of the Azog conversion.

Thanks gang.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of nakedness on the battle field. Any way perhaps that little sheath next at his left thigh is for holding his third sword....and you can hardly blame him for having his weapons out during the middle of a battle.

My Azog on foot conversion is finished. I had to heavily convert the existing model as the GW one is too scrawny for Azog.

Azog mounted is nearly finished.

Much better. I agree the GW Azog is way undersized in the bulk department. Your putty work has come on in leaps and bounds of late Thomas. Great work!

I agree with Dave, this is looking fantastic Thomas. Don't forget the handle, it's a little off line at present where it comes out the back of his hand.

Thanks heaps fellas. Azog on the white warg is finished. I also have made a Hunter orc with a banner and have converted myself a nice Gundabad orc captain whom I have not yet finished painting.

Nice mini. Shame the fella appears to have dropped the banana he was holding. Even Uruk hai beserkers had some sense of decency. Give that man a loin cloth for goodness sake! Looks like he brought all his wargear but forgot to get dressed first.

I'm with Dave on that one! Where's the censor?

Apart from that, it's great to see your sculpting and conversion work. Lots of original ideas and work going on. I'd like an orc captain like that! Very cool.

Fantastic! Could you compare the size to the old Azog some other heroes to get an idea of scale? Cheers.
