Has anyone converted non-LotR minis into something for Middle-earth? I know some people have used Gripping Beast (Saga) and Warlord (Hail Caesar) minis for Dunlendings, Rohan and such, but all those really need at the most basic level is an appropriate paint scheme.

I have some of the Warlord Fantasy Orcs that I've kitbashed together with some LoTR Orcs. I'll try and get pics.

i just hated the original GW mini. it was just an obligatory miniature. for an awesome character like the king of the dead, it was just unacceptable for me.

so i made my own!
