I have not heard anything back from Mantic yet - I believe some of them are on holiday (they need it after the Kickstarter) and they are probably snowed under. I could see them wanting to tweak the story - I want to but I am leaving it alone. But I am thinking of other storylines with the same characters and bringing in some new ones.
Other than that, I am giving nothing away :)

Yup it's holiday time and who could blame them with some of the hours they pulled during the campaign. I'll be getting the short stories in the collector's book so it will be nice to seem them in print (not keen on e-books).

Did you see Update 99 - another sprue type, though this is an add-on. Ramps and long walls included :)

Yup, we'll be picking up some of those I would imagine though I'm happy with all the BZ's as they stand.

Ahhh :) The stuntbot looks good and the Peacekeeper WIP is stunning. Wouldn't want to fall out with him now, would you?

More on the Peacekeeper sculpts. I asked them to make the heavy weapons two-handed.

Well guess what is showing up on Mantic's preorder page :)

I am really looking forward to this entertainment over Christmas (as well as having Smaug wreaking havoc on the cinema screen)

And now Beasts of War have some material starting on Deadzone - this is just to get the, err, ball rolling, so to speak :)

No doubt there will be unboxings and James from Mantic may be dragged in to play Warren.

A HUGE box arrived about an hour ago... I covered the entire double bed in stuff, some of it piled 4 or 5 inches deep.... and this is just the first consignment. I am checking my way through this as so many people had one or two small items missing.
This is like being 5 years old on Christmas Day, all over again.
I need more glue, and paint...
Photos to follow... probably much later. This is going to take hours!

Just one image of the tonnage....
For reference, this is a double bed and the square tiles on the sprues are 3 by 3 inches (7.62 x 7.62cm).
I spent about 4 hours just clipping terrain off sprues so I could get the frames away in the recycling....

You know me.... nothing succeeds like excess :)
And I will be using it with AvP when they start arriving next Spring so I intend to get all the value I can out of it.
I wonder could I do a Death Star trench for X-Wing? Hmmm

That pile looks very familiar, our dining room was covered in a similar landscape of plastic the other weekend.

So... I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the Deadzone stuff I received... It doesn't help that I opened the big shipping box updside down accidently. I could figure out which way was "up" :?

I think I've ordered far too much and will likely need to scale this back. I'm not sure I'll ever play this game beyond the 2x2 skirmish set-up. However, I have enough to fill a 4x4 space easily now.

Really struggling with how to catalog and store it all!!!

(I got the "Assault" pledge level which is 2x the started box and double rewards plus I added a metric ton of extra scenary).
