I am working on a House Scenario; Enter the Dragon's Lair.

It will pit one Dragon against an equal points value of Warriors, with the advantage favouring the Dragon.

This is designed to be a co-operative game with the Dragon's moves fairly scripted or controlled by dice rolls.

If anyone has designed anything similar, I would welcome some advice.

I've done something similar to this, years ago when the (metal) Dragon was released.
I organised an event at the local independent retailer where I played the Dragon (Fly and Blaming Breath). Participants of the event could bring a Good army of up to 400 points. Their goal was to slay the Dragon as quickly as possible. The winner would get a small price.
There were 4 or 5 contestants IIRC, and it was an awesome event! It was great fun to play the Dragon and the winner took it down in only 4 or 5 turns I think (Galadriel, Gil-Galad..), and that was including a few turns moving! In every game, I played the Dragon in the same way: just rush forward, flame breath once, and charge in as quickly as possible.

Using only heroe's does seem a smart thing to do. You could use Thorin's Company, Ori might be worth his weight in gold?

So did you take a hypothetical "400 pts Dragon" or is it just a mistake? :P

Oh, yeah you're right. Should be: Fly and Flaming Breath. ;)

For a special scenario like the one mentioned above I'd take Flaming Breath, Fly, and Tough Hide :) I like having an exceptionally strong opponent if I'm hunting it so to speak

400pts of heroes would easily beat a dragon now, heroic strike up and stick a hero with an axe there to smash away. Rumil, Thorin w/ oakenshield, Dwalin, Original Balin w/ Durin's axe (for banner re-roll). Bye bye dragon.
