Gondor Shields for Fountain Guards

I need about 8-12 Shields for my Gondor Fountain Guard. Does anyone have any spare shields to trade?

your best bet is to buy some instant mold on ebay, WoMT shields are a popular 'want' amongst alot of people. At first I cut up a few WoMT just for the shields but eventually I started using instant mold and didn't look back. Here is a link:

I actually just purchased some wargames factory bits, Saxon Freud shields I think. They are teardrop shaped. Their bits are a great match for LoTR minis. Not too big or too small. I have also used their spears with good results.

I bought a load of numenorian warriors, their shields are perfect!

Disappointing GW don't have the same level of Bitz for LOTR as other game systems. I emailed them but no luck and you'd think the game designers and model designers would at least talk to each other - we need Citadel Guard mounted, Fountain Guards with shields - how hard is it!

Their contract with Warner Brothers expressly prohibits them from bits sales. I don't know why, but I've talked with GW people. Its also why in the GamesDay competition that you are only allowed to use LOTR modifications and not bits from any other minis.

Actually, you are now allowed to use Fantasy/40k/Mordheim/Necromunda/LotR/Bloodbowl/Inquisitor/etc interchangeably now, they're just not allowed to take photographs of your stuff if you do. I've forgotten if they still mean you're not allowed to claim first though.
