This is a Great guide, thank you for putting the time in!

Also does anyone have a full list of GW available miniatures in Word format or similar?

Cheers

Hi,

A new version is available:
http://gondolin.miniman.hu/pdf/unofficial_lotr_collectors_guide_3.1.pdf

Updates:
- new sprue pics (some of them are still missing),
- new pics along with the sprues,
- dice packs (I hope I've found them all.).

Cheers
Miniman :)

very nice! 8)

few sub-atomic errors
- lobelia now also comes in 'hobbits of the shire'
- saruman (white council) is availible seperately
- shagrat is also now availible seperately

so very, very, very minor quibbles

Oh my! This is an incredible reference source. My compliments to you, and thanks for your efforts. The download link appears to be broken, though. New version coming?

A couple of things that could be handy that I thought of while I was browsing:

- A couple of simple codes for Plastic, Metal, and FC and what the figure has been, and is currently available as.

-some of the pages were a little confusing with the multi part plastic kits (eg the Mordor/Isengard Troll) as to what variations are actually from the box and what are different kits. I think from memory that particular page has a separate figure at the top of the page and the rest are variations from the multi part box.

- a hotlinked table of contents would be awesome!

-Please, please, please can you edit the post on the first page of this thread when you do an update instead of posting down in the thread. Links are so easily lost this way.

I'd be happy to help out with additions and editing if you need another pair of eyes and hands. I imagine this is a bit of a bugbear to keep updated.

Hi And thank you so much.Your work is invaluable. Would it be possible to include all the various box sets and different box cover art. Especially all the different metal sets like Breaking of the Fellowship, Attack at Amon Hen, Heroes of the West and all of those.
I understand that it is a lot of work. But if anyone can do it....it's you. Thanks again.

By the way, is Grishnakh still in the Isengard section and not Mordor?

Grishnakh? Thanks. I'll correct it.

Yes, I need pictures. ;)
I need pictures about the plastic sprues of the Balrog, the Mumak and the Fell Wargs. Pictures about the painted dead orcs from the Ent box, and pictures taken from the bare metal or the painted version of the unreleased or limited minis, that are not in the guide yet (White Numenorean, Orc Drummer, Queen Beruthiel, Barrow Wights X 2, Young Aragorn, Elf Banner Bearer, Wood Elf Captain with Spear).
Thanks. :)

No problem I'll get what pictures I can for you. Some of the unrelased stuff i do have pictures for tho at the moment am unable to post them on the forum as I don't want to get my source in trouble. As soon as he gives me the green light i will post them in this thread for you.

Is there any way that you can enlarge the pictures for printing? When I try to copy the images I get one of those "access denied" messages.

I would love to print this out, but there is just too much wasted space and I don't need every page. If I could just enlarge the pages I do wish to print, it would be wonderful. Any tips?
