Here is the first high elf. I have finished two, but I haven't taken pics of the other. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, I painted the rock differently than I usually do, and I really like it. I'm also happy with the armor, the face was crazy hard to paint, but I'm happy with it,

I'm also really happy with how the blue turned out. I forgot to line the armor with black, I'll get to it later.
Let me know what you guys think!

Great painting!!
And the base looks very natural for most part, but I'm not sure about the pink flowers if I can be honest...

That orc on the previous page, that's so awesome!! 8)

Looking good, PoW!

If you want an alternative to painting black lines, try washing with a mix of Catachan green and Bestial brown - check my WIP for images of my elves.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Yeah, the flowers a bit funky, I'm still messing around with basing.

Right now I'm working on my Easterling kataphracts, pics up soon!

This guy looks good. Though I agree that a little more definition of the metal plates would be good, especially the ones across his chest.

So I took Sheildmaiden's advice with the wash, and I also lined the armor with black because I just like it that way. I took some more pictures of it finished, along with the other elf, and an Easterling. I'll try to get them posted tomorrow.

Looking good. I like the piebald pattern on the Kataphrakt's horse.

Nice job on the Easterling, loving the wounded leg on the horse.

Wow - seems you've been busy again.

The elves look great and the bases are outstanding!! Nice work on the gemstone on the captains shield too.
The kataphrkt too, the colour of the horse is excellent and the armour is as fantsatic as ever. Well done POW

Thanks, I actually got some of the basing ideas from looking at your bases

You should try it, I'd love to see it.

Thanks, if you look closely on the cross guard of the sword you can see another gem.

This is awesome! The painting is great. The Elves are well painted, but I love the Kataphrakt! The horse looks very nice. Also the red on the rider is outstanding!
Overall, the painting is very neat.

The fire looks really bad, I know, it was really rushed. I'm really happy with how the sword turned out, especially the bottom where I tried to make it reflect the fire. I'm not very good st nmm swords, but this is definitely my best yet.
C&C welcome.
