Such a difficult choice again! Good job!
For me, the choice was between Valpas, Edge and Meatboy. I really liked the paintjob on Valpas' miniature and that one was also a very interesting figure. I really love the pose of the mini and how it is trying not to breathe sand or something. It really gets the point of being in a desert.
Edge's diorama is just great. It really adds to the paintjob to place them together in that formation. Very well thought of!
Last is Meatboy's, whose paintjob I enjoyed most. But then especially the left guy.

So guys, good luck this long week of voting!

All fantastic entries, it was certainly a hard choice. In the end I voted for Wah Wing's Khandish chieftain, I loved the colours used and the banner and the base really did it for me :)

Went with the Watchers. The Hasharin were well painted, but too bright. It'd be pretty hard to sneak up on somebody to kill them in clothes like that.

Wow. Some wonderful entries here.
I have to go with Meatboy as I really like the colours used and the clean manner in which it was done.
Great job everyone! 8)

Yeah I see where you're going with that, though this guy was supoposed to be blending in with umbar types. Because they are in the desert they would have lighter colour clothes (and definitely light outer clothes) But I also wanted the purple to show that he was richer. (you can make good money assassinating people, not that I would have any experiance with that.... )

Thanks for the vote whatevier, glad to know someone liked it. :)

In the end I voted for Valpas. I really liked his and edge's but edge's black could use a bit more defnition for my liking. (hard with black I know)

I voted for theavenger because of the more realistic Haradrim skin colour, the others are too pale although most were still excellently painted. May I also enquire as to what is the relationship between a Khandish Cheiftain and a Hasharin?

I think theavenger probably did the best paint job but the combination of yellow and the blue-purple didn't do it for me unfortunately (but as I say, nothing wrong with the quality of the painting at all). I really liked Meatboy's entry so that got my vote. Some really nice conversions and work on the bases from the other entries too. Well done guys :)

@ gothmog - I believe the khandish guy was allowed becuase he's from the same area, and he has long flowing robes, like the hasharin.

@ CoTWT - Thanks for the feedback. Sadly the purple didn't photograph well, irl it's more like the other purples, and not so blue. I can see why someone would think they wouldn't go too well together from the pics, but irl I like how they go together. Really that's all that matters in the end, I guess, if I am satisfied with them or not. :)

Excellent job by everyone - really hard to pick a favourite again. Wah Wing stood out for overall painting and basing, Pasi is probably the most technically gifted among the group, avenger and meatboy had really interesting and original colour schemes and Cal and Legolas excellent conversions. I really liked the work of Legolas - particularly the creativity and originality of the conversion and basing - and improvement in painting skill (and photography!).

I ended up voting edge's Watchers. That is such a beatiful diorama and the models are painted really well, the colours complement each other and everything simply falls in place perfectly. Truly great work!

Meatboy's Serpent Guard was the one I was seriously considering for a couple of days. Especially the guy on the left is really good. I really like the colours you chose. I also like Wah Wing's purple colour scheme.

Bonus points for theavenger for the only real hasharin. :) I'm not so sure about the colours but the expression on the front picture is great. That's one mean assassin! And great to see conversions, Legolas and cal! Legolas's chieftain looks very good but the photos are quite dark so we can't really see your painting too well.

If that's the case then, does that mean next time Denethor is selected, you can paint Eomer, and next time Saruman is selected, you can paint Halbarad?

Never mind :(
