That's really smooth painting. And a killer base too. Great job, MMS!

So here is my proof pic! :D

Also, here's some progress. Just a few highlights here and there. The swords seem done though.

Oh my... the deadline seems to be approaching faster than I had thought it would. I'm afraid I have to pull out of the comp this time around - my Legolas has barely been done beyond face and sleeves and trousers, and our school ball is in a couple of weeks so I've been busy trying to sort out my stuff for that (its a masquerade, so I've taken to opportunity to ply my craft upon a mask instead of Legolas).

To bad u won't finish it off in time. But I am quite curious for the mask - show some pictures when it's finished. :-)

It's loosely based on a mask from assassins creed two... I'll have to find somewhere appropriate to post it when its done.

Incredible work here guys!! I cannot wait to vote on these pieces!! :)

I flunked out on this months challenge...never got to assembling my Legolas or even priming him. Oh well, I'll make sure I get something in for May.

No. most of my friends are girls, and to ask any one of them to go with me would be unfair.

Amazing entrances guys! I'm struggling to finish in time got a few straps, boots and knife to do.... so sloooow haha. Doubt I could get a vote with that sort of competition but it's all fun. Loving the entrances MMS your base is so realistic, Wah wings has great skin tones on the face and Valpas' I really like your strong highlights on the horse and elven cloaks

Phew!!!!!! This one took a long time to finish!! Not had much time for painting of late and then camera problems nearly killed me off entirely. Anyway here we go........

Proof pic 1 - the blank 60mm base

For WIP pictures there are some more pictures in my WIP - viewtopic.php?f=50&t=21425&p=274819#p274819

That base is absolutely stunning. Just stunning :D

This is one helluva competition!

MMS - your painting is just beautiful. You even seem to have improved over your usual brilliant standard.

I can't wait to see all these entries side by side. What a showcase!
