Well, I think it is a big challenge to paint a team. But if you think about it, you can do it. If I want, and I have time, I can paint 30-40 figure in a month.
Maybe, the challenge could be a whole movement tray, 8 figure. I think it is pretty intresting, to make a group. :)

I found some inspiration for the dwarf challenge:

Great to see so many entries this month! Gimli seems to be a really popular guy.

Here is my progress:

He's almost painted, the elven cloak will have to wait for another day. I'll probably paint my Amon Hen Legolas at the same time to make sure their similar elven cloaks match.

Great progress Pasi, he looks great. I'm in the process of undercoating mine at the moment.

It is a wonderful basecoat and you did a marvelous job at gluing down that ballast...I can certainly see why you may want to stare at it for the next 24 days. :)

You can do it Matthew!

Haha good to have you entering the challenge anyway, even if you don't manage to finish it off.

Oh God, he's going backwards... :?

Well, I swallowed a gallon or two of snot and pushed forward and got the majority of Balin's base completed.
