I think i will attempt to do enter the painting thingie from GW so i have been thinking about what to do. I ll probably use my dwarf - there is still some sculpting work on the base tough.
I have exams comming up so this will be done by little times.. probably

Stupid studying we hatesssss it... I Think i ll add only a chopped of head and some stalagmites.
Image
Not much opportunity to sculpt so far, i keep my green stuff in the freezer and my parents are home alot these days. So i can't really go sculpt when i am supposed to be studying. By the evening my will to do some sculpting is over..
I was thinking about using some yellowish-orange sandy like colour for the rocks - and add something to make them glittery. I am just doubting how to start. Should i base my base with sand first? Or just paint it and add something like salt or something glittery.. ?

The painting challenge should get me motivated again. Here is some progress.

It felt quite good to be sculpting again.

I agree with the above, that looks very good, I greatly anticipate what things will come from you in the future.

Hmm, nice skin. Maybe the color of the wood could be lighter, cause it is very similar to the skin, but its a nice figure. Make the base too ;)

Nice. The photo is bad, never use flashlight.
I dont prefer the green, it is too funny color. Uruks dont like funny colors. They weare dark clothes.

The green is almost glowing, on a different model it would look better.

Good job on painting the green, it is a nice effect, it just is better suited to a different mini. Great job on the skintones on the Uruk Berserker, I agree that the wood needs to be lighter though in order to to make it stand out from the skin.
