No worries, we all get caught up with real life. How about a picture of this mystery Dwarf captain?

Hi all, found some older pics I took this week, so here they are:
The captain (he doesn't have the gems here yet): http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/4504/5457.jpg
and here's a back view: http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/6826/5458.jpg
The vault warden team together: http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/1493/53253036.jpg
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5343/36538998.jpg the archer, I gave him a black wash on the armour but it didn't really get inte the scales if you know what I mean, it only went darker but I didn't really like it so I repainted it silver :p did I made a mistake with the wash?

here are the prowlers after a black wash, I really like them now!
here is a pic of them now and one how it was first:
http://img574.imageshack.us/img574/1102/001xx.jpg in real life they look even more better^^
http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/5434/003r01.jpg
and how they used to look: http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/7706/dsc00178.jpg

hope you like' em! :D

Those are some good convertions - simple but effective. You've created some great poses with repositioning the arms, keep up the good work! 8)

I started painting some more dwarves, including the metal archers.
Also I took a pic of From the captain, but.. after I took the pic he slipped out of my fingers :( he lost his axe head.. and I'm out of glue :(

The archers look great so far although the second one freaks me out a bit with the white eyes
But keep up the good work. Can you perhaps post direct pics rather than links please?

As soon as possible, but I didn't paint a lot of dwarves :p
I used to have a Khazad army, but I didn't like them that much anymore, that's why I'm repainting them (:

It's been a while now, but here are some new pics of the two metal dwarves, I really tried making something cool of their beards so that's the only thing actually painted.. :p but I'm very happy with the result, I gave the red-haired one even eyepupils! they're not equal but I like them.
here are the links:
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/7383/002ke.jpg red-haired guy
http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/361/003yvz.jpg he looks better in real life (the beard :p)
http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/5489/005ks.jpg back view
http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/2582/006nvt.jpg close up on beard, but my camera isen't strong enough for massive close-ups I guess :p
doning these beards was very fun, also it was difficult, but I see it as a nice experience (:
I even used a blue wash for the grey-haired fellow :p can you imagine? xD

hey your dwarfs are looking good, your getting the hang of the painting. Good to see you experimenting with the more detailed parts, I still have difficulty with the eyes. Are you sure there is no way to re-szie your photo's? Either through the camera or on a site like image-shack where you upload your pictures from your PC onto the internet - and I think you can resize them there.. would be so much handier because your pictures are pretty big and take a long time to load. Not just for me but for others, plus it's more userfriendly.

well I've got some good news for you Drum, I just tried photobucket, and I'm able to resize the pictures now (:
I'll upload them in a minute. thanks for the nice comment though, glad to hear that, and yes the eyes failed a little bit, but I'm kinda happy with the mini so far so I'll just leave it as it is.

ohh great! :D My favourite would have to be the last one I find. For the skin you could add some highlights on the nose etc.. and even some on the beard. They look good though, you basing them?
